Here’s a quick snippet of some of the photos I took for Volcom the other weekend for the 2011 Christchurch Wild in the Parks comp. The day started off with torrential rain hampering spirits early on. As the rain poured, Shane from Volcom gave skaters things to pass the time like seeing how long they could hold a Berocca in their mouth for—probably gotta try it to know what I mean.

As soon as the rain began to clear, it was all on, brooms came out and within about 45 minutes the park was dry and the comp was on.
