Laura & Hamish's Canterbury alpine wedding was something from my dreams. Private land surrounded by scree slopes, golden tussocks with a sprinkling snow. Not only that but access is by 4WD only, all the way into the hidden retreat. No cell coverage, no wind and a collection of amazing humans. Quite a formula for an incredible day, especially as there was no timeline. Yep no timeline aside from putting the BBQ on at about 4:30pm! Their ceremony was held under the trees when everyone was ready, then jumped onto the convoy of trucks taking all of the guests on an epic excursion.
