The simplicity, the idea of doing life together and in the case of Emily & Theo’s Queenstown elopement, the adventure. From both NZ and the UK, these two came together in one of the beautiful places in the world to connect. Having shared their vows earlier in private, we ventured about the mountains later in the day as the sun began to set.

When remotely organising a Queenstown wedding, there are so many variables — with logistics and weather all playing a role either with or against your day. Victoria & Mark scored it pretty much perfect on their spring day, warm weather, sun out and an awesome atmosphere among their family and friends. We captured a couple of firsts as well, one being the first time I’ve caught a groom actually tripping over while swinging his brand new wife around on a mountain top, and the other with total confidence climbing a tree in a wedding dress.
