Emily & Theo / Queenstown Elopement

The simplicity, the idea of doing life together and in the case of Emily & Theo’s Queenstown elopement, the adventure. From both NZ and the UK, these two came together in one of the beautiful places in the world to connect. Having shared their vows earlier in private, we ventured about the mountains later in the day as the sun began to set.

Victoria & Mark / Queenstown Wedding

When remotely organising a Queenstown wedding, there are so many variables — with logistics and weather all playing a role either with or against your day. Victoria & Mark scored it pretty much perfect on their spring day, warm weather, sun out and an awesome atmosphere among their family and friends. We captured a couple of firsts as well, one being the first time I’ve caught a groom actually tripping over while swinging his brand new wife around on a mountain top, and the other with total confidence climbing a tree in a wedding dress. I swear my couples are getting more and more adventurous! Absolutely loved your day guys, here’s how it went…

Olga & Tom / Lake Tekapo Pre Wedding

Olga & Tom’s Lake Tekapo pre wedding session (actually a post wedding session) was incredible. Recent snow on the mountains, the sun was out and temps were warming up a little from winter. They even bought their fur babies along for the last part of the shoot. Super connected souls, beautiful setting — couldn’t ask for more.

Shannon & Chris / Wanaka Couples Session

Visiting from Maryland, USA, I found these two an awesome couple to photograph, constantly drawing closer to each other — perhaps it was partly to do with the howling westerly wind. We hit it off nicely over sunset, capturing the real wild essence that Wanaka has to offer.

Abby & David / Rosemount Estate Wedding

Shortly after moving down to Central Otago, Abby & David’s Rosemount Estate wedding lured me back. Kiwis residing in the Netherlands, it was a warm welcome and gathering with family and friends back home — served with a stunning summer’s day. Their wedding was held out at Rosemount Estate, with photos taking place on their family property. Somewhere with meaning and a couple with a beautiful connection. Enjoy…

Leah & James / Arthurs Pass Pre Wedding

Arthurs Pass is an incredible Location, no matter where in the world you’re from. Leah & James asked me along to capture their Arthurs Pass pre wedding session and mother nature threw everything at us in the village. Traveling 10 minutes east of the divide, we were welcomed with some epic light and cloud formations. James, originally from the area helped guide us into the right places — bringing a beautiful, calm connection throughout the whole session.
